Most freight companies treat their customers as if they are just an account number, but not Diversified Transportation. At a large machinery manufacturer we rely heavily on Diversified because you provide extraordinary personal service that meets our requirements.

For example, we recently had a shipment that was late, plus the project was plagued with cost overruns. I called Jerry Rocha, our account representative, and told him of our predicament. Jerry responded by saying, ” Give me a few minutes and I’ll see what I can do.” Fifteen minutes later he called back with the good news that he could pickup the 800lb. skid on Friday and have it at the customer on Monday and the price was comparable to a ground freight price.

This is typical of the great service that Diversified provides us. We have found that partnering with Diversified is better than having a transportation expert within our own company, and they have always come through for us when need it.

Diversified Transportation has come through for our company many times. Their staff is always willing to help and very friendly. Where other companies have let us down Diversified has come through for us!

Whenever we have an order that needs special care or a rush shipment we call Diversified! One call does it all. Their follow through on orders is tremendous, you don’t ever have to call and check how things are going because they’ll let you know! Should a problem arise, as sometimes happens, they are there contacting us and explaining alternatives or solutions. When our product was in their hands we didn’t need to worry!

Diversified’s billing process is very straight forward and simple. We’ve never had any problems or even a need to speak to an account rep.

When we call for a freight quotation, the response is always fast and efficient. Diversified Freight will continue to get our freight business!

Efficiency accompanied by courtesy is a rare combination in today’s work world. The courtesy extended to me by your company’s representative, Mr. Josh Mintz, during the recent years and the logistical assistances was impressive because of its rarity.

Mr. Mintz helped me with my time-sensitive logistic plan and competitive rates. His cheerful, “will-do” attitude is commendable. His work record with us in the past has been excellent. Such concern is refreshing and should more widespread. Thank you for such a wonderful representative!

There is an old saying that states, “ All good things must come to an end.” In the case of a large scale manufacturer of custom made items it is a very true statement. At least so far as the South CA location is concerned.

I want to take time to say to Marc, Robby & everyone else at Diversified that it has been a “Great Ride”. The ride for me is, unfortunately, coming to an end. I will officially be retired by June 18th.

Marc & Robby, my hat goes off to you two for being able to assemble and maintain a great staff. Some of the people that I dealt with in the early years have gone on to different things either within the company or elsewhere. Melissa Recary, Yvette Velasco and Rachel Delgado are three who come to mind. There are many people that are still there and doing an excellent job. Lydia, Christine, Delvin, Don, Tami, Sherri, Paula, Loretta, both of the Angels. Too many to name. I want to complement everyone at DTS regarding the fact that your main thought was to “Always Give The Best Customer Service Possible”.

I have never talked to anyone within DTS that took a “That’s not my job” attitude. It was the DTS people’s attitude combined with the great customer service that made it a pleasure to do business with you over the years. I have passed all of this along to my boss (who, it appears is making the move to Illinois) and the other new staff at our company. I am sure they will be as pleased and happy with your services as I have been.

During our first 6 months in partnership with DTS. our costs have been reduced and our services have been improved as follows:

• LTL transportation costs are down 12% – 17%
• TL transportation costs are down 15% – 20%
• Expedited transportation costs are down 18% – 50%
• We have established a sound show-freight process ensuring our freight moves to and from each show location on time and in a cost efficient manner.
• Our claims have been reduced and a process is in place to file claims accurately and timely.
• DTS traces any shortages and handles all damage reporting with the carriers. This frees up the time of our traffic department and ensures that potential claims are handled properly and consistently.
• We have established an inbound routing program for all of our suppliers resulting our receiving products quickly at a reduced transportation cost.
• DTS set up a rate quote program for use by our customer service group which provides accurate rates and has helped convert our transportation costs into a profit center.
• DTS developed a program which allows sales representatives to provide their customers on-site quotes while at exhibition shows and while at the customer location. This has resulted in increased sales and ensures accurate quotes in covering our transportation costs.
• We established a return program which provides improved inventory control and assures our pricing is applied to every return shipment.
• DTS developed a routing guide which allows us to ensure we are using the most cost efficient transportation method while meeting our required service time needs.

Although this list is not conclusive and new opportunities are being identified and addressed on an ongoing basis, I believe this partial list illustrates the positive impact our partnership with Diversified Transportation Services has afforded us.
